How Do I know If Coaching is Right For Me?

As a life coach, I help people make decisions, set and reach goals, or deal with problems.  Life coaching is for everyone. For those who are already seeing a therapist, they can still have life coaching sessions.

Even the most successful people on the planet have a life coach to help them grow and be more successful.
How often should I get life coaching sessions?

The most popular package is the 3 month package that includes 12 sessions.  Second most popular package is the one month package that includes 4 sessions every week, after that they follow up with 2 more sessions. Honestly, the amount of sessions depends on your problem/goal that you need to solve/reach.

How is life coaching different from therapy?
Answering from my own experience, therapy didn’t really help me to overcome my depression. Even antidepressants didn’t help me with my depression. In general, the therapist is there to listen to you and to get to the root of the problem, but he/she doesn’t pressure you on solving the problem. I saw a therapist for about 2.5 years and was taking antidepressants for about that same period of time.  It was only when I started to see the life coach and work through my problems using tools provided by my life coach that I stopped taking antidepressants and got out of my depression.
But here are some other differences between a life coach and therapist. Therapists can provide you with a diagnosis and help you with mental difficulties.Therapists are educated with a minimum of a masters degree in psychology and councelling. Therapists are more likely to be covered by insurance (depending on your health insurance plan) and especially if you have a referral from your health provider.
What are the success rates of life coaching?

Studies conducted by the International Coaching Federation on the effectiveness of life coaching showed 99% of the people they interviewed saw their experience working with a life coach as rewarding, while 96% stated they would do it again. Moreover, 65% said working with a coach helped them improve their performance at work, and 80% said it helped improve their self-confidence

How can life coaching help you?

Life coaching can help you find your purpose in life or gain more clarity in it.

Life coaching can help you resolve your relationship issues, ignite passion in your relationships, find your other half, and generally help you to build relationships with your family, friends and coworkers.
Life coaching can help you achieve goals in health and fitness.
Life coaching can help you become a more effective leader.
Life coaching can help you grow your business.
Life coaching can help you prepare you for a change in life.
Life coaching can help you to work through depression and grief.
Life coaching helps to keep all the areas of your life in balance.
How Does life coaching work?
Coaching usually consists of multiple one-on-one sessions between you and your life coach. The sessions usually last 45-60 minutes each. Some clients meet with their life coach once a week when others can meet twice or once a month, depending on their needs. You and the coach will agree on what works best for you to succeed.
In your first session you will go over with your coach about your goals and establish what you would like to achieve in your life through life coaching.
Once you establish your main goal, the life coach will use tools and strategies to close the gap between your current state and your desire state.

You will be asked by your coach at the end of each session to commit to completing tasks before the next scheduled session. Basically, you’d have some homework to do in between sessions.
That homework will consist of specific actions which you and your life coach have identified as being the most important thing you can possibly do to get closer to your big goal.
When you commit to your coach, not only you are focused on reaching your goal, but you also have someone holding you accountable to make sure you are following through.
I think these are the most valuable perks of life coaching: to be committed, follow through and have someone holding you accountable- the 3 things that help people make incredible progress.

My Approach

I typically work with one client at a time, and on some occasions a small group of clients (such as a family or work group).

Coaching usually consists of multiple one-on-one sessions between us. The sessions usually last 45-60 minutes each. Some clients schedule meetings once a week when others can meet twice or once a month, depending on their needs. We will agree on what works best for you to succeed.

In your first session we will go over your goals and establish what you would like to achieve in your life through life coaching.

Once you establish your main goal, the life coach will use tools and strategies to close the gap between your current state and your desired state.

You will be asked at the end of each session to commit to completing tasks before the next scheduled session. Basically, you’ll have some homework to do in between sessions.

That homework will consist of specific actions which you and I have identified as being the most important thing you can possibly do to get closer to your big goal.

When you commit to coaching, not only are you focused on reaching your goal, but you also have someone holding you accountable to make sure you are following through.

How It Works

Schedule a Free 1:1

A complimentary conversation is the best way to introduce you to life coaching and to see how coaching can benefit you. The one on one is an opportunity for you to have the experience of being coached, and for us to get an idea of how we interact together. You will have an opportunity to decide how you feel about working with me, and I will find out more about your situation and whether this is an area in which I believe I can help you.

i

Choose a Coaching Plan

After our initial complimentary conversation/meeting, if you choose to proceed in life coaching sessions with me, then you can choose the best life coaching plan that fits you best. Of course, I can recommend a package based on your needs, but ultimately it is your decision on what package and how often we meet for your coaching sessions.

Reach Your Goals

Setting and keeping goals helps you build a happy life. If you want good things to happen to you, you don’t get them by waiting and hoping, but by making a plan and going after them. One thing that makes achieving goals hard than it has to be is thinking of your goals as something you “have to do” — or too difficult to do. You can achieve more success more if you realize that goal-setting and goal-achieving can be fun.
